The Heritage Series GRANDEUR: A modern take on the 1986 flagship sedan

Hyundai is commemorating the 35th anniversary of our flagship car, the Hyundai GRANDEUR, with an exhilarating vintage idea. The Heritage Series GRANDEUR will entice you with its ’80s nostalgia, cutting-edge technology, and sumptuous interior, thanks to an electric motor and all-new light and sound features.
To commemorate the 35th anniversary of our beloved sedan, Hyundai has recreated the original 1986 model for the twenty-first century and beyond. As a consequence, the Hyundai GRANDEUR Heritage Series concept was born. This is Hyundai’s second Heritage Series concept, after the Heritage Series PONY, and, like the redesigned PONY, the new GRANDEUR transports fans back to the heyday of this legendary automobile in seamless ’80s flair while bringing them, and us, into the future.

The Hyundai interior design team led this project, which was completed on a genuine first-generation GRANDEUR. This initial model represents so much to Hyundai as a business and to fans who grew up with these automobiles.
Hyundai also made sure that the majority of the original design elements remained in the new model. The first-generation GRANDEUR, on the other hand, has been totally revamped as an all-electric vehicle with an ultra-modern interior draped in burgundy velvet and Napa leather. The new GRANDEUR also has Hyundai Parametric Pixels, as do the IONIQ 5 and new Seven SUEV concept, all of which were presented on November 17 at the 2021 AutoMobility event in Los Angeles.
